We are fortunate to have been given the opportunities from India's pioneer Oil & Gas company ONGC both in India as well abroad with ONGC Videsh Ltd.  We have and are now executing a number of projects from our vast range of products.

On shore project

OVL - Mariposa
 

Issue

 At one of the On shore well, instead of using DG sets we suggested to utilize the Flare gas and generate electricity.  The gas had heavy hydrocarbons that were not suitable for a turbine.

Solution – ESPL checked the available flare gas and found that it had very heavy hydro carbons and needed conditioning.  We engaged a special  condensation machine that broke the hydrocarbon into crude oil and   the resultant gas most conducive to the Microturbine. We also suggested to use exhaust from the machine to convert water to steam that save money for water transportation.  The Steam making proposal was dropped due to budget constraints.
•We gave our customer
•Seamless captive power that requires once a year service ~ 100 Kw/hr
•Electricity from the flare gas that was wasted utilizing ~ 100SCMD/hour
•Additional crude oil from same gas which was just burnt~ 24 barrels / day
With a Co-Gen advantage of Power and Crude Oil, a return of ~1700 USD per day, entire project has a Return of Investment (ROI) for less 
than a year.

Telecom POC

ONGC Off Shore Telecom need seamless Electricity to transmit essential data of Rig at all the times. Getting diesel and maintaining diesel generator was not easy at platforms. They even tried Hybrid with Solar – battery and a generator combination which was blown by cyclone Taute​​

One box solution with solar

Solution – ESPL Observed that a hybrid model wherein the Solar Panels serve during the day and aLong Life , Reliable storage battery can be the best solution
We provided:

  • Seamless captive power from the best available resource

  • Graphene based Battery Banks that store energy for upto 7 days

  • Even if there is no sunlight for 7 days the power goes on

  • After 7 days of No Sun the battery bank can easily be recharged with portable DG set.


The solution ensures seamless power with No Manual intervention in extreme weather for 7 days.
